From March 23rd, 2018, VJU organized a series of Career Orientation Seminars, aiming to help VJU’s students the chances to learn more about organizations and enterprises with Japanese elements working in Vietnam.

The seminars are held weekly with the speakers are representatives from the organizations or enterprises. The seminar series content focuses on introducing the organization, strategy and business philosophy, organizational model, staffing requirements, and so on. From there, VJU students can gain a practical understanding of the operation, especially an in-depth knowledge of the human resource quality requirements that companies need, which is the best preparation for them in finding and applying for jobs in their companies after graduation.

Career Orientation Seminar

In this series, on March 30th, the seminar to introduce the Japan International Cooperation Agency – JICA with the speaker is Ms. Yutori Sadamoto – Representative of JICA Vietnam Office. The seminar focused on JICA’s mission, organizational structure, and role in coordinating ODA projects of the Japanese Government, especially the role of JICA with VJU and staffing requirements at JICA.

Japan is in the leading group of countries with ODA projects in Vietnam and in many different fields such as Agriculture, Natural Resources and Environment, Economic Finance, Education, Infrastructure.
From seminars in these areas, VJU students had the opportunity to understand better the importance and influence of those projects in Vietnam and the role of JICA in coordinating those projects.

VJU will organize the next seminars weekly with the participation of The Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO), AGS (A. I. Global Sun Partners JSC), AEON MALL Vietnam.
VJU will update the content of the seminar continuously.
